Rod Jackson

Rod Jackson is an American rock musician. He was the lead singer for the second incarnation of the band Slash's Snakepit, led by ex-Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash.
Jackson got his start as the front man for the Charlottesville, Virginia, band Suggestion, with Andrew Perkowski, Howard Lenn, David Lenn, and Dana Powell, and with Richmond, Virginia-based band Rag Doll. He is now in 3 of a Different Kind, a rock band signed to the Big Swede Studios record label. They released an album in 2006 titled ''There's a Rhythm to These Streets''. He is also the singer for the band RazorBall, whose eponymous debut album was released in 2007. It features 12 tracks and has received good reviews. He is currently working on a rock album with Stefan "Big Swede" Svensson on drums, Johnny Griparic on bass and Howie Simon on guitar. Jackson has been in the studio working with Explosive Records co-writer/producer Pride Hutchison on the Shady-Tree Project. Some of his new songs are co-produced by Andy Johns.
